About

In 2015, Leana Martinez established Lele's Project as an outreach organization. After uncovering the food security challenge in her community, she initiated a holiday fundraiser that set the stage for an unexpected journey. With community support, the organization flourished, extending outreach from homeless assistance and school fundraisers to mental health events and fitness boot camps.

Today, Lele’s Project has evolved into a wellness marketplace offering thoughtfully curated merchandise with purposeful designs. As advocates for mental health, we view discussions about food security as an integral part of our mission. Our mission centers on purpose, facilitating impactful encounters not only through our brand but also community events. By collaborating with mental health professionals, organizations, food pantries, and local gardens, we promote safe, engaging, and educational activities. Our aim is to inspire Atlanta's youth and families to break the mental health stigma and establish food security within our communities.
